Before being accepted in to the Academy, prospective student athletes are to fill out the admission application, pay the application fee of $50, and submit three Letters of Recommendations. Below are the expenses for the Academy. Student athletes needing housing will pay $15,000 annually. Non-housing student athletes will pay $10,000 annually. All student athletes are to pay a 1/2 deposit of their total tuition amount by June 15th, no later than July 1st. A weekly $100 late fee will be assessed if amount if not paid by the deadline. The remaining balance will be split into two payments: the first payment is due October 1st. The second payment is due February 1st. Monthly payment plan for remaining balance is also an available option. ALL FEES PAID TO THE ACADEMY ARE NONREFUNDABLE.

The typical day will vary some during the course of the regular season as a result of our class schedule and travel itinerary.
6:30 am - 7:30 am: Breakfast
8:00 am -9:00 am: Individual Conditioning
9:00 -11:30 am: Personal/Class Time
11:30 am - 12:30 pm: Lunch
1:30 p.m. - 3:30 pm: Team Practice
3:30 pm - 6:30 pm: Personal/Class Time
6:30 pm - 7:30 pm: Tutoring
7:30 pm - 9 pm: Dinner
9:30 pm - 11:30 pm: Personal/Class Time
12 pm: Everyone In House! (No Exceptions)
Student athletes who choose this option will reside in apartments which will be fully furnished with full sized appliances, wireless internet, and easy access gym and workout facility where team practice, strength and conditioning sessions. Housing also comes with a meal plan (breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday - Thursday). The total cost is $15,000 for the year and is reserved first for out of state and international student athletes.
The Uptempo Academy will utilize the Distance Learning Program of a local college for online college courses and financial aid through the (Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Student will be required to enroll into and take at least 6 semester credit hours, no more than 12 semester credit hours, each semester (Fall and Spring semesters). Student Athletes will also have access to WiFi to work on college course material, tutoring for college courses and ACT/SAT standardized testing preparation coordinated by the Director of Academic Enrichment.
