Before being accepted in to the Academy, prospective student athletes are to fill out the admission application, pay the application fee of $50, and submit three Letters of Recommendations. Below are the expenses for the Academy. Non-housing Student Athletes will pay $10,000 annually. Student Athletes who neeed housing will pay $15,000 annually. All student athletes are to pay a 1/3 deposit of their total tuition amount by July 15th, no later than August 1st. A daily $25 late fee will be assessed if amount if not paid by the deadline. The remaining balance will be split into two payments: the first payment is due October 1st. The second payment is due February 1st. Monthly payment plan for remaining balance is also an available option. ALL FEES PAID TO THE ACADEMY ARE NONREFUNDABLE.

The typical day will vary some during the course of the regular season as a result of our class schedule and travel itinerary.
8:00 am - 9:00 am: Breakfast
9:00 am - 10:30 am: Individual Conditioning
10:30 am - 11:00 am: Break/Personal Time
11:00 am - 1:00 pm: Class Time/Lunch
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Team Practice
3:00 pm - 3:30 pm: Travel Back to Team House
3:30 pm - 7:00 pm: Personal Time/Homework/Tutoring
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm: Dinner
9:00 pm - 12:00 pm: Personal Time
9:30 pm - 11:30 pm: Personal Time/Homework
12:00 am (2 am on weekends): Lights out! Everyone in the house.
The Uptempo Academy will utilize the Distance Learning Program of a local college for online college courses. Student will be required to enroll into and take at least 6 semester credit hours, no more than 12 semester credit hours, each semester (Fall and Spring semesters). Student Athletes will also have access to WiFi to work on college course material, tutoring for college courses and ACT standardized testing preparation coordinated by the Director of Academic Enrichment.
Students will receive an individual academic plan, college course credit assessment, and NCAA Clearing House process assistance in addition to assistance in college admission and college course registration assistance.
